A peer-to-peer messenger that keeps working on bad connections, when parts of the network fail, and with no internet at all.
01 Private by construction
Your identity is a key pair derived from a 12-word recovery phrase. Your data lives only on your devices.
End-to-end encryption with a hybrid ML-KEM-768 and X25519 handshake, and Ed25519 identity.
The SQLCipher key is derived from your recovery phrase. Nothing is kept for you elsewhere.
No analytics, no contact upload and no telemetry. This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties.
02 Works on any network
Fryva picks the transport that works right now, and falls back when a path fails.
When part of the network breaks, Fryva notices, works out which layer failed, from DNS through TCP and TLS to HTTP, and switches to a transport that still works. The model that picks the route learns on your device, with federated learning.
Delivery indicators reflect the real state of the transport, not an optimistic guess.
03 Offline
Nearby devices talk directly over local Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Messages for offline peers wait in store-and-forward mailboxes.
04 Everything a messenger should do
Replies, polls, read receipts and delivery indicators.
Sender-key groups, communities and channels at scale.
Voice over QUIC with FEC, PLC and DTX, plus adaptive video.
Chunked, Merkle-verified, swarm-capable transfer.
